Category Archives: personal we recently got to spend a very relaxing and wonderful weekend in the mountains of colorado with my sister and her family at their newly built cabin. it was so nice to spend thanksgiving together, in one spot. the kids were happy, adults relaxed, it was great! i also got to snap a few family…  i finally get a chance to post some images from a session from MY family! it was actually a hoot to see the “bloopers” from this day. now i know what my clients feel when their kids are being less than cooperative. i had set the stage for the perfect session…food, naps, bribes and a…  had the pleasure of photographing this adorable little bundle the other day. what a sweet little guy who is so lucky to have gotten such an equally sweet mama (and grandma!) who just adores him to bits.  my poor neglected blog. what can i say, other than it’s winter and my camera has been hibernating! i spent part of the other afternoon playing “guys” with my four year old. considering myself a fairly intelligent person i thought, ok, this i can do. well, i was wrong. “mom, that guy doesn’t go there!”…”mom,…  yesterday was my birthday and it’s funny how after a certain age, it gets less and less important to us. perhaps that is the duty of a child, to remind us of the joy of a birthday, the excitement and whimsy. my sweet four year old was very excited about my birthday (very much more… |
